This set of buttons indicates the particular drum pad selected in the
sound-bank/timbre editing menu. After you open a bank name in the
right side menu and select a position, the selected pad number will
blink while selected. Note that Drums 1 & 5 are special drums:
Drum 1 has two timbres (CLOSE and OPEN), while Drum 5 has a
hand-activated pressure switch under the bottom of edge of the drum
pad (this switch is Drum 7 in this menu) with the function of muffled
sound (Tone Mute Choke Control).

B. Save:

Stores (saves) the timbre composition

.

C. Add:

Adds a new timbre composition.

D. Delete:

Deletes a timbre composition

.

E. Name of timbre composition:

Name-input of timbre

composition.

F. Apply:

Applies the timbre to drum setting.

G. Details of timbre composition: This area gives details of the

timbre composition of all drums.

H. Timbre list: All of the timbres are listed in this area.

I. Exit:

Exits from the Timbre editor and returns to the prior

menu.

7.5.1 Editing

Timbres

1. Adding new timbre compositions: To add new

compositions and edit different compositions to your

liking, click “Increase Timbre Composition”

(Figure 18 – Position A).
