O: For scene modes with O, use of a tripod is recommended. Turn Vibration reduction (A143)

off when using a tripod.

Q: Pictures shot in scene modes utilizing Q are processed automatically to reduce noise and

therefore take a longer time to record.

g Beach/snow

Captures the brightness of such subjects as snowfields,
beaches, or sunlit expanses of water.
The camera focuses on the subject in the center of the frame.
