DHCP

If set to None, the gateway is configured to use a fixed IP address on the
WAN.
If set to Client, the gateway is configured to obtain an IP address
dynamically from the ISP.

LAN Port

These IP parameters apply to the Local (WAN) port of the gateway.

IP Address

This field displays the IP address being used by the Local (LAN) port of
the gateway. The default is 192.168.0.1

IP Subnet Mask

This field displays the IP Subnet Mask being used by the Local (LAN)
port of the gateway. The default is 255.255.255.0

DHCP

If set to None, the gateway will not assign IP addresses to local PCs on
the LAN.
If set to Server, the gateway is configured to assign IP addresses to local
PCs on the LAN.

Modem

These parameters apply to the ADSL modem section of the gateway.

ADSL Firmware Version

This field displays the ADSL chipset firmware version.

Modem Status

This field displays the state of the ADSL connection to your service
provider, either “Connecting” or “Connected”

Connect Mode

This field displays the protocol used to connect to your service provider.
When the ADSL link comes up, the connection will be either “Fast” or
“Interleaved”, depending on the way the telephone company has
configured its equipment

Down Stream

This field displays the connection rate from the service provider to the
gateway in bits per second

Up Stream

This field displays the connection rate from the gateway to the service
provider in bits per second

VPI

This field displays the VPI entered in the Setup Wizard or Basic Settings
screen

VCI

This field displays the VCI entered in the Setup Wizard or Basic Settings
screen
