Question

: For some reason, system drivers seem to be stuck in a

loop, and performance is suffering. What can I do?

Answer

: At a command prompt, type the command


fepkill –9 <pidnumber>


(The pidnumber is the PID of the driver process as shown in the
Windows NT Task Manager.) This command kills the driver, and you
don’t have to reboot the system to regain control.
