Attaching the Shoulder Strap

Caution: When carrying the camcorder with the shoulder strap,
you may find it convenient to rotate the viewfinder to the front.
This helps prevent possible damage to the viewfinder from
bumping against your body as you move.

The shoulder strap packed with your camcorder is designed to let you carry the
camcorder from your shoulder and — when you are ready to shoot — bring the
camcorder to shooting position in one quick movement.

To Attach the Shoulder Strap

Attachment Rings

1. Unfasten one end of the strap from the

buckle catch and slide the end of the
strap out of the tension band. Make
sure you leave the buckle on the strap.

2. Thread each end of the strap through

one of the shoulder strap attachment
rings as shown.

3. Thread the strap back through the

tension band and into the buckle.

Make sure the strap is firmly attached
before using it to carry the camcorder.

4. To adjust the length of the strap, pull a

loop of the strap loose. Then pull the
strap through the tension band or
buckle firmly.
