and 16 volts or there is no volt-
age present

Check battery, connections and fuses and
repair or replace as necessary. If voltage is
above +16 volts, have the electrical system
inspected by an authorized car service center.
Check wiring and repair as necessary
Source Unit
does not turn
on
Detachable faceplate not proper-
ly connected Detach faceplate and reinstall into chassis No backlight
illumination
Antenna is disconnected Check connections and repair as necessary Tuner fails to
tune any radio

Check connections and bypass all components
between the source unit and the amplifier.
Connect one component at a time to deter-
mine the culprit. Connect this component to
the Blue wire and check for pops. If pops per-
sist, repair or replace component as necessary
