Loading CompactFlash Memory Card

The Camedia C-2500L corresponds to commercially available
CompactFlash memory cards. Load cards as follows.

Open the card compartment cover.

With the side where an arrow is drawn facing you, insert the
CompactFlash memory card all the way into the slot nearest the
lens.

Close the card compartment cover until it clicks.

Removing CompactFlash Memory Card

Push the eject button. The CompactFlash will come out.

Loading SmartMedia / CompactFlash Memory Cards

The Camedia C-2500L can take both SmartMedia and CompactFlash memory cards simultaneously, or either of them at a time.
The pictures you take are stored on these cards.

Loading SmartMedia Memory Card

You can use not only Olympus SmartMedia 3V(3.3V) cards, but any
brand SmartMedia 3V(3.3V) cards. In the latter case, format the memory
card with the Camedia C-2500L before using it. 5 V cards cannot be
used. Load the card as follows.

Open the card compartment cover.

With the cut corner facing downward, insert the SmartMedia all
the way into the slot farthest from the lens.
Confirm the direction of the SmartMeida as shown in the illustration,
and insert it.

Close the card compartment cover until it clicks.

Removing SmartMedia Memory Card

Push the SmartMedia which has been inserted. The SmartMedia will
come out.

Caution

• NEVER pull the SmartMedia without first pushing it.

Caution

• Do not push the eject button strongly. The CompactFlash may

burst out.

• Do not insert the CompactFlash upside down. It may be dam-

aged.

• Do not insert SmartMedia into a CompactFlash insertion port.

This may damage the terminal.
