PARALLEL ENABLE
DISABLE
Enables or disables the parallel port.
BI-DIRECTION ENABLE
DISABLE
Enables or disables bi-directional
functionality of the parallel port.
ECP ENABLE
DISABLE
Enables or disables ECP mode.
ACK WIDTH NARROW
MEDIUM
WIDE
Sets width of ACK signal in compatible
receiving:
• Narrow = 0.5 µS
• Medium = 1.0 µS
• Wide = 3.0 µS
ACK/BUSY
TIMING
ACK IN
BUSY
ACK WHILE
BUSY
Sets the order in which the BUSY signal is
output.
• ACK IN BUSY = BUSY goes low at end
of ACK pules.
• ACK WHILE BUSY = BUSY goes low at
centre of ACK pulse.

DISABLE
Sets the time interval to enable/disable
the I-PRIME signal.
OFF LINE
RECEIVE
DISABLE
ENABLE Enable = maintains reception without
changing the interface signal, even
though an alarm occurs. The interface
stays open even if the ON LINE button is
pressed.
The interface issues a BUSY signal only
when the receive buffer is full.
