Recording the radio

Preparation: Do the preparatory steps (

page 35).

Tune to the required station.

Tape-to-tape recording

Preparation:

Do preparatory steps 1 and 3 (

page 35).

Insert the tape to be recorded in deck 1.

Set the tape direction on both decks.



Press [DECK 1/2] to select “DECK 2”.

], and then [

].

Repeat steps

for deck 1.

Press [TAPE EDIT] to start recording.

The indicator “

” shows deck 2 direction.

If either deck 1 or deck 2 stops, the other deck also stops.

To stop recording

Press [

].

Both decks stop.

To enjoy another source while recording

Start playing the other source.
You can change the volume level and tone quality without affecting the re-
cording.

Note

The recording level and the noise reduction effect of the original (playback)
tape will be recorded on the new tape.
