External unit connections

Television with S-VIDEO terminal

The S-VIDEO output terminal on DVD/Video CD/CD changer achieves
a more vivid picture than the video output terminal by separating the
colour and luminance signals before transmitting them to the television.
(Actual results depend on the television.)

[B]

Laser Disc player (without 5.1ch output), etc.

Connect to the VDP (AUX) terminal on the sound processor.
This unit has Dolby Pro Logic circuitry. The sound will be reproduced
with the same powerful stereophonic effects found in movie theaters.

Video cassette recorder

Connect to the VCR (EXT) terminal on the sound processor.
You can play the sound from a video cassette recorder through this
unit’s speakers or record sound from this unit onto a video cassette.

Televison

(For Australia and N.Z.)
Using video cords, connect the following equipment to the terminals on
the sound processor.
Connect a laser disc player or other audiovisual equipment to VDP IN.
Connect a television to MONITOR OUT.
Connect a video cassette recorder to VIDEO IN and VIDEO OUT.
These connections allow you to control the video and audio from this
equipment with [INPUT SELECTOR].

Subwoofer

The included front speakers have subwoofers, but you can enhance the
