Using an External Keyboard

If desired, you may connect any IBM-compatible
external PS/2 keyboard. If you are using a 101
keyboard, a 101 to PS/2 adapter must first be
purchased. To connect the keyboard, complete
the following steps:

1.

Turn off the computer.

n

Note:

If you connect the PS/2 keyboard to the

computer while power is on, press

Ctrl-Alt-Del

(warm start), or cycle power so the computer can
detect the presence of the keyboard.

2.

Attach the six-pin Mini-Din connector to the
Keyboard/Mouse connector on the left side of
the TM5000.

3.

Reconnect the AC Adapter, and turn on the
computer.
