WAN Interface, you can leave the WAN Interface default. Then click Save/Apply button to save it.

Note:

If changing the Automatic Assigned Default Gateway from unselected to selected, you have to
reboot the Router to get the automatically assigned default gateway.

Default Gateway IP address should be specified since MER Interface is selected when you select
the Enable automatic Assigned Default Gateway check box.

5.4.6.2. Static Route

Choose “Advanced Setup”Æ“Routing”Æ“Static Route”. You can see the Static Route screen,
this screen allows you to configure the static routes (shown in Figure 5-35). A static route is a
pre-determined path that network information must travel to reach a specific host or network.

To add static routing entries:
1. Click

Add button (pop-up Figure 5-36), and you will see the screen below (shown in

Figure 5-36).
