Troubleshooting

I hear other calls when

usng the telephone.

Dsconnect the telephone base from the telephone jack. Plug n a dfferent telephone. If

there are stll other calls, the problem s probably n the wrng or local servce. Call your local

telephone company.
Press

CHAN/REMOVE to swtch to a clearer channel when on a call.

I hear nose n the

handset, and none of

the keys or buttons

work.

Make sure the telephone lne cord s plugged n securely.

Remove and re-nsert the battery.

My caller ID features are

not workng properly.

Caller ID s a subscrpton servce. You must subscrbe to ths servce from your local telephone

company for ths feature to work on your telephone.
The caller may not be callng from an area whch supports caller ID.
Both you and the caller’s telephone companes must use equpment whch are compatble

wth caller ID servce.
If you subscrbe to hgh-speed Internet servce (Dgtal Subscrber Lne - DSL) through your

telephone lines, you must install a DSL filter between the telephone base and the telephone

wall jack. The filter will prevent noise and caller ID problems caused by DSL interference.

Please contact your DSL service provider for more information about DSL filters.
