Connecting Headphones

Connect a pair of headphones to the PHONES jack
(standard stereo) on the DG60FX-112 to play or
practice in private.
The volume of the headphones can be controlled
with the OUTPUT knob.

* When a pair of headphones is connected, output from the

speaker will be terminated however, output from the LINE
OUT jacks and the DIGITAL OUT jack will be delivered.

When using headphones, use at a comfort-
able volume so as not to cause shock to your
hearing.

Digital Output

The DG60FX-112 is equipped with a DIGITAL out-
put jack (COAXIAL), that can be connected to the
DIGITAL INPUT jack on a digital mixer, MD recorder,
etc.

* The output level of the DIGITAL OUT jack cannot be con-

trolled with the OUTPUT knob (fixed).

Connecting an Expression (EXP)

Pedal

A foot controller (expression pedal), such as the
YAMAHA FC-7, connected to the EXP. PEDAL jack
on the Foot Switch Unit of the DG60FX-112 allows
control of the DG60FX-112’s individual parameters
or use as a wah pedal. (See pages 21, 25)

Connecting MIDI Devices

Using the MIDI IN/OUT jacks allows the exchange
of MIDI information between the DG60FX-112 and
an external MIDI Device.
Data from the DG60FX-112 can be stored in MIDI
devices such as the YAMAHA MIDI Data Filer MDF3,
etc. also, data from the external device can be
loaded into the DG60FX-112.
Also, a MIDI foot controller, etc. can be used to se-
lect patches in the DG60FX-112, control individual
parameters, set individual effects, etc. Refer to the
[Utility Mode] (page 23) for more information on MIDI
functions.
