8. 4.2.2 Encr ypt ion
This pr int s er ver s upports WEP a nd WP A-P SK s ecur ity
mode . I f you want to use WEP enc rypt ion to protect your
wire less net wor k, you ha ve to se lect “ WEP”. If you want to
us e WP A-P SK, you ha ve to se lec t “ WP A-sha red ke y” . The
wire less s ecur ity settin g s hould be the sa me with other
wire less de vices in the s a me net wor k.
WEP Secur it y Mode :
Ÿ Key Length – You can choose “64-bit” to use WEP with 64-
bit key length encryption or choose “128-bit” to use WEP with
128-bit key length encryption. The longer key length can
provide better security but worse transmission throughput.
