10.2.1 Pr int Server Side

Ma ke sure the pr int ser ver ha s correc t I P settings . If you
wa nt t o s hare the pr inters to Int erne t user s, you ha ve t o s et
a rea l I P to the pr int s er ve r. You a ls o ha ve t o ma ke s ure
that any ga te wa y; router or f ire wa ll does not bloc k IPP
pr otocol if you ha ve these ga te wa y de vice s ins ta lle d in your
ne twor k.
10.2.2 Client Side
You only need to per form Win do w’s sta ndard Add Ne w
Pr inter proce dure.
Step1. Clic k “ Start” , c hoose “ Set tings” a nd se lect
“Printers and Faxes”.
Step2. Clic k “ Add a Pr inte r” .
