Selecting a Vehicle
Selecting a vehicle is required to communicate with the vehicle and to
correctly display DTC defi nitions. During vehicle selection, the Tool may
ask for the following information:
To select a vehicle:
From the Main Menu, choose Vehicle
Diagnostics then press ENTER.
Confi rm previous vehicle.
To run or review diagnostics on
the same vehicle, press t LEFT
arrow for Yes. Then continue these
instructions with Step 3.
To run diagnostics on a different
vehicle, press u
RIGHT arrow
for No. Then continue these
instructions with Step 4.
If this is the fi rst time that you
are using the Tool or no vehicle
identifi cation information is stored
in memory, the Tool will ask you
to provide vehicle identifi cation
information. Continue these
instructions with Step 5.
