Polaris Ranger Radiator Relocation Kit

BEFORE YOU INSTALL READ THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT:

This radiator kit has been designed to reduce overheating caused by the buildup of dirt, mud,
sand, etc. between the radiator fins. This is achieved by relocating the radiator higher up in
the hood compartment and starting with a completely clean radiator. The addition of a
cooling additive is also suggested. Since the radiator is being moved up and out of the mud
and water, the air flow across the radiator is decreased. You should not experience any
overheating during slow mud and trail rides; however, we have found that high speed runs
can cause the motor to heat up because of the decreased air flow. This is over come by just
slowing down and letting the radiator catch up. We have found this is a much better solution
that having to sit at idle or sitting with the engine off for up to 20 minutes letting the engine
cool off every few miles because the radiator is clogged. As would be expected, shorter high
speed runs will increase the temperature more in the hot summer months than in the cold
winter months.

If you do a lot of high speed riding and don’t spend much time in the mud getting your
radiator clogged up this probably isn’t an appropriate product for your needs.
