7.1 Measure Controls
The RUN Record button starts the acquisition and record the signal into a .wav file. Beside the wave
file, a .cfg file is also created in order to provide the measurement information (mainly sensitivity) for
the post-analysis. This configuration file is named the same as its wave file. Because both files are
closely linked to each other, they should be copied and moved together.
Run/Stop Record (with input log)
Starts the measurement and becomes the Stop Record button when clicked.
The signal of the enabled inputs is saved in the selected wave file.
Stops the measurement and becomes the Run Record button when clicked.
Run/Stop Test (no input log)
Starts the measurement and becomes the Stop Test button when clicked.
No data are saved in a wave file.
This is useful to test the acquisition before starting the data logging for real.
Stops the measurement and becomes the Run Test button when clicked.
