VEGABAR 41 (4 … 20 mA)

6 Instrument modification

6.1 Exchange of adjustment

modules

The modular construction of VEGABAR allows
retrofitting, interchange or removal of the
display module. Data previously saved (e.g.
adjustment values) are not stored in the ad-
justment module but in an EEPROM of the
sensor electronics and therefore readjust-
ment is not necessary. The connection of the
modules is made via a 4-pole plug connec-
tion.

Checking pressure compensation

Open the housing of VEGABAR. The meas-
ured value must not change. However, if the
displayed value changes, compensation of
the atmospheric pressure is not ensured,
which will lead to distortion of the measured
value. Check the breather on the VEGABAR-
housing.
