2 .6 CE conformity
T his device fulfills the legal requirements of the applicable EC
guidelines. By attaching the CE mark, VEGA provides a confirmation
of successful testing. You can find the CE conformity declaration in the
download area of www.vega.com.
2 .7 NAMUR recommendations
NAMUR is a user association for automation technology in the process
industries in Germany. Several of its key activities are defining
standards as well as setting user requirements on new devices,
systems and technologies. The published NAMUR recommendations
(NE)
are accepted as the standard in field instrumentation.
T he device fulfills the requirements of the following NAMUR
recommendations:
l NE 21 – E lectromagnetic compatibility of equipment
l NE 43 – S tandardization of the signal level for the breakdown
information of digital transmitters
2 .8 Safety instructions for Ex areas
P lease note the Ex-specific safety information for installation and
operation in Ex areas. These safety instructions are part of the
operating instructions manual and come with the Ex-approved
instruments.
