Note: to hide codes when opening the safe, press the START button [C] twice at the

beginning of the procedure.

Programming codes
Note:
for security reasons it is strongly advised to reprogram the user and master code

immediately.

User code:
o

Open the safe and press the SET button [H] once. The display shows “SET CodE”.

o

Enter a new user code consisting of 3 to 8 numbers. Press the START button [C] to
confirm; the display will show “IN”.

Master code:
o

Open the safe and press the SET button [H] once. Press the START button [C]. The
display shows “oLd CodE”.

o

Enter the original master code (factory preset = 8888) and press the START button
[C]. The display shows “SET”.

o

Enter a new master code consisting of 3 to 8 numbers. Press the START button [C] to
confirm; the display will show “rE-InPUT”.

o

Enter the same new master code again and press the START button [C] to confirm; the
display will show “IN”.

Alarm handling
• When a wrong code is entered, the red LED [G] lights up while the display shows “Error”.

The safe will not open.

• After consecutively entering 4 wrong codes, the buzzer [B] will sound for ±3 minutes.

During this time it is not possible to enter any codes.

• It is always possible to use the override key to open the safe (see §3: Opening the safe

for the first time). The buzzer [B] can then be reset by pressing the SET button [H].

Mounting the safe
• T0 reduce risk of theft, the safe should be secured to floor and wall using the pre-drilled

holes.

• There are 8 mounting holes (Ø8mm), 4 in the back plate and 4 in the bottom of the safe.

Use the included screws to secure the safe.

CAUTION: the safe is heavy and should therefore only be mounted on a solid surface or

wall that is strong enough to hold its weight.
