DESCRIPTION

The DS1631 digital thermometer and thermostat provides 9-, 10-, 11-, or 12-bit digital temperature
readings over a range of -55°C to +125°C. The thermometer accuracy is

±0.5°C from 0°C to +70°C with

£ 5.5V. The thermostat provides custom hysteresis with user-defined trip points (T

The thermostat output (T

) becomes active when the temperature of the device exceeds the upper

thermostat trip point (T

registers and thermometer configuration settings are stored in NV EEPROM so the

DS1631 can be programmed prior to installation. Communication with the DS1631 is achieved through a
standard 2-wire serial interface.
