Enables or disables 35-bit data transfer.

5.3.5 IDE Configuration
The items in this menu allow you to set or change the configurations for
the IDE devices installed in the system. Select an item then press <Enter>
if you wish to configure the item.

Configure SATA As [Standard IDE]
Onboard IDE Operate Mode [Enhanced Mode]
Enhanced Mode Support On [S-ATA]
IDE Detect Time Out (Sec) [35]
Configure SATA As [Standard IDE]
Sets the Serial ATA configuration.
If you want to use your Serial ATA like a Parallel ATA physical storage
interface, select the Standard IDE option.
Configuration options: [Standard IDE]
Onboard IDE Operate Mode [Enhanced Mode]
Disables or allows selection of the IDE operation mode depending on the
operating system (OS) that you installed. Set to Enhanced Mode if you are
using native OS, such as Windows ® 2000/XP.
