After finishing your work, switch off the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF switch (5) and pull the power plug

out of the socket. Slot the mini vacuum cleaner (4) back in the main unit (2), then press at the mini vacuum

cleaner handle until it clicks into place [fig. D4]. Wrap the power cord neatly around the upper (16) and nether

(14) cord hook [fig. C2] for storage.

The accessories (9) can be hung on the hook (13) of the main unit (2).

MAINTENANCE

Before opening the appliance, switch it off and pull the power plug from the socket!

Before using the appliance again, make certain that all parts cleaned with liquid are

completely dry!

Cleaning the appliance:

Clean the appliance as needed with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents or other aggressive or sharp-edged

cleaning aids. These could damage the surface.

Cleaning the combination brush (8) and dusting brush (9a):

With the vacuum switched on, run your hand over the brush to loosen clinging dust and lint. These are then

directly vacuumed up.

Cleaning the dust container (6) and filters (7) [fig. E]:

It is strongly recommended that the dust container (6) be emptied and the filters (7) cleaned after every use

to keep the vacuum operating at top efficiency.

Press the release buttons (12) on both sides at the same time and pull out the dust container (6)

[fig. E1].

Lift up the flap of the dust container and empty the contents into a suitable vessel or bag [fig. E2].

Press back the flap until it clicks into place.

Pull out the filters (7) [fig. E3]. Turn the prefilter (7b) in an anticlockwise direction to unlock and

separate it from the fine filter (7a) [fig. E4].

Clean the dust container (6), prefilter (7b) and fine filter (7a) by shaking them off. If necessary, rinse

them under flowing water. Ensure that these parts are completely dry prior to reassembly.

Reassembly

Insert the cleaned fine filter (7a) into the prefilter (7b) and lock it by turning it in a clockwise direction.

Then, insert the filters (7) into the dust container (6).

Slot in the dust container (6) to the mini vacuum cleaner (4) until it clicks securely into place

[fig. F1].

Replacement

Replace the filters (7) if they are dirty or torn or at least once a year (depending on use).
