When using an electrical appliance, always follow these basic rules:

Never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands or feet.

Never use the appliance in bare feet.

When disconnecting the power plug, always pull on the plug and not on the cord or the appliance.

Make certain that the power cord is not pinched or damaged by hot surfaces.

Never subject the appliance to moisture or weather influences (rain, sunlight).

Do not place the appliance in the vicinity of heat sources (e.g. radiators).

Watch children to make certain they do not play with the appliance.

y

Persons (including children) who are incapable of operating the appliance safely due to their physical,
sensorial or mental abilities, inexperience or lack of knowledge must not be allowed to operate the
appliance without supervision or instruction by a competent person.

y

Do not use the appliance if the housing or the power cord is damaged or if the appliance no longer
functions properly. If the power cord of this appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by a customer
service centre authorised by IMETEC in order to prevent associated dangers.

y

Please note that a new appliance may initially give off a certain odour. This is no cause for concern and
will go away after a short time. Ensure good ventilation of the room.

y

When the appliance is finally taken completely out of operation, it is recommended that the power cord
be cut off so that the appliance will no longer function. Before doing so, disconnect the plug from the
power supply and remove all dangerous parts in the event that children use the appliance for playing.
