Close the top cooking plate which has a floating hinge that is designed to

Toasting should take approx. 3-6 minutes, depending on the bread, filling
and personal taste. The sandwich press toasts both sides of bread at the
same time.

Once the sandwich has cooked, open the lid and remove it from the cooking
plates with a plastic or wooden spatula. Do not use sharp objects or metal as
this may damage the non-stick surface.

It is normal for the green indicator light to switch on and off during cooking,
as the thermostat keeps the sandwich maker at the correct cooking
temperature.

If you wish to continue making sandwiches, wait until the green indicator
light illuminates before you put new sandwiches in the sandwich press.
