2.8 TURNING ON THE POWER
To turn on the scanner, press the power switch at the back of the
scanner toward "1". At this moment, the POWER LED should light
up. If not, check the power.
Scanner Diagnostics
The scanner has a built-in self-diagnostic function to detect system
errors. The self test is initiated each time the scanner is turned on.
During the test, the READY LED is flashing. At the end of the test,
if no error occurs, the READY LED is steadily on.
