Unsatisfactory null.

1. Unstable PL system due to
excessive cabling, a high number of
stations, transformers connected
across the intercom channel, or
other PL equipment issues such as
termination.

2. Too many EF-701M units on
channel.

1. Verify operational status of PL
equipment.

2. Remove EF-701M units from the
network. If nulls on the remaining units
improve, the problem was too many
EF-701M units. This should not occur
until approximately seven or more units are
sharing a channel. However, as systems vary
in size and complexity, a user could
experience difficulty nulling as few as two
EF-701M units, each connected to a very
large system.
