DCS-BT1 does
not turn on.

Unable to
communicate with
DCS-BT1

Check to see if handset
supports Bluetooth
wireless technolgy.

Check whether your handset
supports Bluetooth wireless
technology or Handsfree Profiles.

Check whether the
battery of the DCS-BT1
is fully charged.

Recharge the battery.

Unable to pair the
handsfree with
the Bluetooth
wireless
technology
handset device

Check whether the
battery of the DCS-BT1
is low.

Charge the battery.

Check and make sure
the DCS-BT1 is on.

Press and hold the Activity
button for 3 seconds to
turn on DCS-BT1

Check and make sure
the DCS-BT1 is placed
in pairing mode.

With the power off, press and
hold the Activity button for
6 seconds to place DCS-BT1
in pairing mode.

Check the speaker
volume.

Turn the knob clockwise for
volume up.

Volume of
the DCS-BT1
is too low
