BLUETOOTH Audio Operation

Audio information of a BLUETOOTH compatible mobile phone, a
portable player, etc., is controllable/playable wirelessly

from this unit.

* To play back audio, a mobile phone or a portable player conforming to

A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) and AVRCP (Audio/
Video Remote Control Profile) is required.
Not all functions work with all devices.

Notes

• Set “AUDIO” to ON when you want to use BLUETOOTH Audio

function. Refer to “Setting the BLUETOOTH Connection (BT IN)” on
page 27.

• During a call, sound on the BLUETOOTH audio source is muted.
• If you operate the Hands-free phone (e.g. searching in the phonebook)

while using the BLUETOOTH Audio function, BLUETOOTH Audio
playback may be affected.

to select the BT AUDIO mode.

Return the beginning of the song being played back.

Forward the next song.
Pressing and holding

forward track continuously.

A playback stops. Pressing again will resume a playback.

internet radio is your own FREE personalized radio now

available to stream music on your smartphone (which runs Android OS
or BlackBerry OS).
Just start with the name of one of your favorite artists, songs or classical
composers and Pandora

®

will create a “station” that plays their music

and more music like it.
The CDE-HD138BT/CDE-HD137BT enables you to interact with your
Pandora

®

account by connecting a smartphone that has the latest

version of the Pandora

®

application installed.

Notes

• Some Pandora

®

application functions are not available when using the

CDE-HD138BT/CDE-HD137BT.

• Pandora

®

via Bluetooth is not available on the iPhone.

• Pandora

®

is available on Android OS and BlackBerry OS with this

unit—not all smartphones will be able to run Pandora

®

via Bluetooth.

Listening to Pandora

®

Pair the smartphone with this unit.

Note

• Before pairing, make sure AUDIO is set to ON, refer to “Setting the

BLUETOOTH Connection (BT IN)” on page 27.

 to switch to the BT PANDORA mode.

Note

• The Pandora

®

source can be displayed only when BT PANDORA is set

to ON. For details, refer to “Setting the BLUETOOTH Connection
(BT IN)” on page 27.
