International Telephone Interface Instructions
(Satellite Receiver Cabinet Connection with Cellular Phone)

The telephone interface enables backup sound over a phone
line for satellite broadcasts in the event of a satellite failure.

Equipment Used:
1 – Telephone Interface Box
1 – RCA to RCA cable (6 feet)
1 – 2.5mm to 3.5mm Mini Stereo Cable
1 – Power Supply with International Adapters

Step 1: Using the mini stereo cable, connect the cellular telephone to

the interface box in the jack next labeled LINE IN.

Step 2: Connect one end of the RCA to RCA cable to the interface box

in the jack labeled LINE OUT. Connect the other end of the

cable to the AUDIO connector in the INPUTS section on the
front of the satellite equipment cabinet. Move the toggle
switch labeled VCR-OFF-SATELLITE to the VCR position.

Step 3: Connect the plug on the power supply cord to the interface box

in the jack indicating a +12VDC connection. Using the proper

adapter, plug the power supply into the building’s wall outlet.

Step 4: Call your area help desk to test the telephone connection

volume level and to connect your call to the broadcast phone
bridge. Insert a small Phillips head screwdriver into the

unmarked hole in the face of the interface box. Turn the
screwdriver clockwise to increase the volume and counter-
clockwise to decrease the volume.

If there are questions, contact the area help desk or the Global Service
Help Desk at 801-240-4357.
