Command Mode

Global Configuration.

Description

Configures the priority of a source MAC address or destination MAC
address. The no command deletes the Address Forwarding Table (AFT)
entry for the source or destination MAC address.

Syntax

To
Configure:

set aft entry <mac-address> vlan {<vlan-id> | name
<vlan-name>} port-binding {filter | forward <mod-port-
spec>
} [persistence {ageout | permanent}] [priority
{normal | high}] [sa-priority {port | aft <entry-priority>
| max-port-aft <entry-priority>}] [da-priority {port | aft
<entry-priority> | max-port-aft <entry-priority>}]

To Delete:

clear aft entry <mac-address> vlan {<vlan-id> | name
<vlan-name>}

Name

Definition

<mac-address>

The MAC address associated with this entry.

vlan

The keyword for per VLAN commands.

vlan-id - The numerical ID of a specific VLAN.

name

The keyword for the VLAN name.

vlan-name - The name of the VLAN.

port-binding

Options include:

filter - AFT entries with a filter port binding

are dropped when received.

forward - The port from which the mac

address is forwarded.

mod-port-spec - Specifies a particular port.

persistence

Options include:

ageout - The entry is aged as per-learned

entries.

permanent - The entry is not aged out.
