ip vrrp (override)

Command Mode

Interface Configuration.

Description

Enables or disables the address owner override to a virtual router. The
default is disabled.

Syntax

Sample Output

The following example enables address owner override on virtual router vr
id 1 an interface labeled boston.

(config-if:boston)#

ip vrrp 1 override address owner

Systems

P550R, P580, P880, and P882.

To Enable:

ip vrrp <vr-id> override addr owner

To Disable:

no ip vrrp <vr-id> override addr owner
