S te p 1:

Locate the DB-78 serial port. The location of the DB-78 serial port is shown in

Chapter 1.

S te p 2:

Connect the DB-78 to COM port cable to the system. Insert the DB-78

connector end of cable into the DB-78 serial port. See Figure 3-14.

S te p 3:

Connect the serial device. Connect a serial device to the DB-9 connector end

of the cable. See Figure 3-13.

S te p 4:

Secure the connector. Secure the serial device connector to the external

interface by tightening the two retention screws on either side of the connector.

S tep 0:

3.8.4 US B De vic e Co n n e c tio n

There are six USB 2.0 connectors on the TANK-600. To connect a USB device, please

follow the instructions below.

S te p 1:

Locate the USB connectors. The locations of the USB connectors are shown

in Chapter 1.

S te p 2:

Align the connectors. Align the USB device connector with one of the

connectors on the TANK-600. See Figure 3-15.
