For non-PIE applications, determine the type of connection required (i.e., Current Loop or RS232):
For PIE applications, see description above.
3. Set dispenser jumper JP1 to either the Current Loop (CL) or RS232 setting. Set reader
Jumper, JP2 to RS232.
4. Referring to the diagram of the front panel which follows, connect the
dispenser/reader controller to either the Current Loop or RS232 for dispensers and to
RS232 for readers.
5. Determine whether the application requires loop back when using the RS232
connections. Set H3 and H4 to the appropriate positions (LB= loop back).
6. Proceed with programming the system.
