Alignment Jig

6.12 Now remove the Pulley Alignment tool from the

top brace and check the alignment of the
bearings. Straighten the bearing to be
perpendicular to the shaft and tighten securely.

6.13 Place the Bracket Assembly and place into the

Fiberglass shroud 36" (4003-3002) 48" (4003-
3003), 52" (4003-3001), as shown in Figure 12.
Note the two drainage holes at the bottom of
the shroud.

6.14 With the shroud lying flat on the floor, attach a

Fan Alignment Jig on the end of each blade as
shown in Figure 13. Now carefully spin the fan
and align the four bracket arms so that the fan
blade does not touch the shroud. This will
provide a 3/16” clearance between the fan blade
and the shroud. (Note: in some cases the
alignment tool may slightly touch the housing,
but should allow the fan to be rotated freely.)

6.15 While rotating the fan blade, the bracket arms

should be lined up so as to center into their
respective corners. See Figure 12.

6.15 Refer to Figure 15. Firmly hold the bracket arms in

position and drill a hole through the fiberglass shroud
using a 21/64“ drill bit (at least 5“ long) using the
hole in the side of the bracket arm as a guide.
