4.6 Traffic Statistics

Traffic statistics is used to display the bandwidth that LAN devices have used.

Enable Traffic Statistics: Enable the Medialink router to calculate the traffic used by the

LAN devices. By default, Traffic Statistics is disabled to improve the router’s data packet

processing ability. When this function is enabled, the webpage will refresh automatically

every five minutes, meanwhile, each computer’s traffic value will refresh automatically.

IP Address: The IP address of the device whose traffic is being calculated.

Uplink Rate: The data speed of data sent from the device per second, the unit is

KByte/s.

Downlink Rate: The data speed of data received by the device per second, the

unit is KByte/s.

Sent Message: The number of the calculated data packets that are sent out

through the router.

Sent Bytes: The volume of the calculated device’s statistics that is sent out

through the router.

Received Message: The number of the calculated data packets that are received

through the router.

Received Bytes: The volume of the calculated device’s statistics that is received

through the router.

4.7 Bandwidth Control

Bandwidth control is used to limit the data traffic of LAN computers when accessing the

Internet. It can simultaneously control maximum of 254 PCs' traffic. In addition, IP

address range configuration is supported.
