This section outlines the mounting of your heater to the base (if you plan on using it
freestanding on a flat surface). To prevent any accidents (or setup/assembly) miscues,
please read and understand all directions
prior to start.

 A rubber mat or pad (or a soft flat surface where the heater can be placed on its back without

getting

 Medium Phillips Screwdriver

Gloves (optional)

Only use the accessories supplied by the manufacturer.

Make sure the heater is kept clear of kids and pets while assembling.

1. Take the base and screws out of their packaging.
2. Remove the front glass panel from the heater’s face (if not already done) and put to one side (and

out of the way).

3. Place the fireplace without the glass cover, on the rubber mat (or soft surface), with the flame effect

logs facing up.

4. The underside of the heater should have 2 sets of 3 short screws inserted into pre-drilled holes.

These holes/screws can be distinguished from “component screws” by their triangular pattern
(reference below).

5. Remove the six screws from the underside of the heater’s body (reference fig. 1).

Be careful to remove only the screws indicated. Removing other screws will result in

loosening/damaging internal components in the heater!!

6. Keep the 6 removed screws in an accessible location for future use or as extras.
