Symbols
The following summary explains the meaning of symbols that may follow the data you receive
from the 470 in response to a command.

“OK”

The data is within the requirement for the user defined
STABILITY INDICATOR.

“hPa”

The data is reported in hectopascals.

“PSI”

The data is reported in pounds per square inch.

“mbar”

The data is reported in millibars.

“mm Hg”

The data is reported in millimeters of mercury.

“in H2O”

The data is reported in inches of water.

“mm H2O”

The data is reported in millimeters of water.

“feet”

The data is reported in feet of altitude.

“meter”

The data is reported in meters of altitude.

“SEA LEVEL”

The data reported is corrected to sea-level.

“units”

The data is reported in user-defined pressure units.

“HI ALARM”

The pressure applied to the sensor exceeds the Hi set point.

“LO ALARM”

The pressure applied to the sensor exceeds the LO set point.

“MAX”

The data reported is the maximum value recorded.

“MIN”

The data reported is the minimum value recorded.

“HI A”

The data reported is the HIGH ALARM SETPOINT.

“LO A”

The data reported is the LOW ALARM SETPOINT.

“ELEV”

The data reported is the programmed station elevation.

“A”

The data reported is absolute pressure.

“T”

The data reported includes a positive or negative Tare value.

return character (ASCII 13) and the line feed character
