Fuser Error
The temperature of fuser unit
does not rise at a specified
temperature within specified time.
(MFC-7340, MFC-7345N and MFC-
7440N only)
Received fax messages still in memory
will be lost when the machine is turned
off. See Transferring your faxes or Fax
Journal report on page 111 before
disconnecting the machine so you will
not lose any important messages. Then,
turn the power switch off, wait a few
seconds, and then turn it on again. Leave
the machine for 15 minutes with the
power on.
(MFC-7840W only)
Turn the power switch off, wait a few
seconds, and then turn it on again. Leave
the machine for 15 minutes with the
power on. The machine can be turned off
for approximately 4 days without losing
faxes stored in the memory. (See
Transferring your faxes or Fax Journal
report on page 111.)
The fuser unit is too hot.
Init Unable XX
The machine has a mechanical
problem.
Do one of the following:
(MFC-7340, MFC-7345N and MFC-
7440N only)
See Transferring your faxes or Fax
Journal report on page 111 before
disconnecting the machine so you will
not lose any important messages.
Then, disconnect the machine from the
power for several minutes and then
reconnect it.
(MFC-7840W only)
Disconnect the machine from the power
for several minutes, then reconnect it.
(The machine can be turned off for
approximately 4 days without losing
faxes stored in the memory. See
Transferring your faxes or Fax Journal
Jam Rear
The paper is jammed in the back
of the machine.
(See Paper jams on page 114.)
Jam Inside
The paper is jammed inside the
machine.
(See Paper jams on page 114.)
Jam Tray
The paper is jammed in the paper
tray of the machine.
(See Paper jams on page 114.)
No Paper
The machine is out of paper or
paper is not properly loaded in the
paper tray.
Do one of the following:
Refill the paper in the paper tray, and
then press Start.
Remove the paper and load it again, and
then press Start.
