Press the start/stop button.
• You can also touch [Ü].
• The camcorder records for about 4 seconds (the blue
frame serves as a visual progress bar) and then automati-
cally returns to record standby mode.
Pre-Recording
The camcorder will start recording 3 seconds before you press
the start/stop button, ensuring you do not miss important shoot-
ing opportunities. This is especially useful when it is difficult to
predict when to start recording.
• You can change the length of the video snapshot
scenes recorded to 2 or 8 seconds with the 1 >
p > [Video Snapshot Length] setting.
• Changing the movie format will deactivate video snap-
shot.
