Charging the Battery Pack

Push the battery compartment cover in the direction of
the arrow to open it.

Insert the battery pack with the Canon label facing the
top of the camcorder.
• When inserting the battery pack, push it up against the
battery release latch. Next, push it all the way in until the
battery release latch secures it in place.

Close the battery compartment cover.
• Push the cover until you hear a click. Do not force the
cover closed if the battery pack is not correctly inserted.
