25 USING YOUR WASHING MACHINE
ENGLISH CYCLE SETTING BUTTONS
When a cycle is selected, the default settings and available
options for that cycle are displayed. Adjust the settings or
add options as desired for your particular needs. Use the
up and down arrows to adjust the setting to the desired
selection. The washer automatically adjusts the water level
for the type and size of wash load for best results and
maximum efficiency. Due to the high efficiency nature of this
product, water levels may be much lower than expected.
This is normal and cleaning/rinsing performance will not be
compromised.
SOIL LEVEL
Adjusting the soil level setting will modify the cycle times
and/or wash actions. For example, to maximize cleaning
performance of heavily soiled items, increase the soil level to
Heavy.
WASH RINSE
Wash/Rinse adjusts the wash and rinse temperature
combination for the selected cycle.
y Select the water temperature suitable for the type of
load you are washing. Follow the garment fabric care
labels for best results.
y The actual cold rinse temperature depends on the
temperature of the cold water at the faucet.
NOTE
y To protect your garments, not every water temperature,
spin speed, soil level, or option is available with every
cycle. The option will be dimmed or will not display on
the screen if it is not available with the selected cycle.
SPIN SPEED
Higher spin speeds extract more water from clothes,
reducing drying time and saving energy. Lower spin speeds
will tend to reduce wrinkling but may increase dry times and
energy consumption.
Use the Spin Speed up and down arrows to adjust the setting
to the desired selection. Some fabrics, such as delicates,
require a slower spin speed. To protect your clothing, not all
spin speeds are available for all cycles.
SAVE CYCLE
After modifying a cycle setting, you have the option of saving
it as a custom cycle and adding it to the Custom Cycle screen.
Touch the Save Cycle button more than once, will save the
cycle multiple times.
