USING YOUR WASHING MACHINE

SMART THINQ SCREEN

Smart Grid

Smart appliances can communicate with local utility companies that
are equipped with Smart Grid equipment. These utility companies can
then adjust the operating times for enabled smart appliances during
peak electricity demands. Turning this feature on can help reduce
your electricity consumption by allowing the utility company to delay
some of the functions of your machine during peak electric demand.
Select ON or OFF to turn the Smart Grid feature on or off. The status
of the Smart Grid is shown on the home screen.
Contact your utility company to find out more about its system’s
capabilities and for help in setting up your machine.

SMART DIAGNOSIS™

Should you experience any problems with your washing machine, it has
the capability of transmitting data via your telephone to an LG Specialist,
or from your machine directly to your Smart Phone using the LG Smart
Laundry Application. Refer to the SMART DIAGNOSIS™ section for detailed
information.
