CHAPTER 4. MANAGING dba/m Database
Manager PROFILES
For ease of use, dba/m Database Manager provides windows for super
users to manage dba/m Database Manager configurations. A super user is
any user with a group ID of SUPER. If you log on to dba/m Database
Manager as a super user, you can
•
add or delete nodes
•
change dba/m Database Manager profile
•
add or delete users
•
change user profile defaults
•
add and delete nodes assigned to users
If you log on to dba/m Database Manager as any other user, you only
can
•
change your profile default values
You can access the profile management windows from the Profile menu in
the Main window.
Profile Menu
The dba/m Database Manager profile menu has 4 menu-items
1. Options. This menu-item allows to set different dba/m options.
2. SQL Inventory. This menu-item displays present SQL
Inventory.
3. DefaultLogon. This menu-item allows user to set default logon
options.
