• Pair Status
• Business Copy: Displays or hides Business Copy XP pairs.
• Snapshot XP: Displays or hides Snapshot XP pairs.
NOTE: If the check box is not selected, all check boxes in each tab are grayed out.
• Business Copy tab
This tab is for Business Copy XP pairs. For more information, see the HP StorageWorks Business Copy
XP User Guide for the XP10000/XP12000.
• Snapshot XP tab
Check boxes indicate the status of Snapshot pairs displayed. If you select or clear a check box,
Snapshot XP pairs in that status are displayed or hidden in the volume list. To use the check boxes,
select the Snapshot XP check box in the Pair Status box.

• OK button
Applies settings and closes the Display Filter pane.
• Cancel button
Resets settings and closes the Display Filter pane.
Creating or deleting pools
1. Launch Command View XP or XP Remote Web Console.
2. Click the Volume Management button. The Volume Management pane appears.
3. Select the Pool tab. The Pool panel appears.

You can also use the Pool pane to initialize the pool management block’s V-VOL management area. For
more information, see ” Initializing V-VOL management areas or pool management blocks ” on page 39.
The Pool pane displays the following items:
• Pool Mng. Block total capacity
Total capacity of pool management blocks, including capacity of pool management blocks in use.
NOTE: The capacity of the pool management block in use must be less than its total capacity.
