About this Guide
This document provides instructions for installing and using the Remote Web Console web client Java
application program for the HP storage system.
Unless otherwise specified, the term storage system in this guide refers to the following disk arrays:
•
HP StorageWorks XP24000 Disk Array
•
HP StorageWorks XP20000 Disk Array
•
HP StorageWorks XP12000 Disk Array
•
HP StorageWorks XP10000 Disk Array
Intended Audience
This document assumes the following:
•
The user is familiar with the operating system and web browser software on the system hosting
the Remote Web Console software.
•
The user has a background in data processing and understands RAID storage systems and
their basic functions.
•
The user is familiar with the storage system and has read and understands the HP StorageWorks
XP24000 Disk Array Owner's Guide or the HP StorageWorks XP20000 Disk Array Owner's
Guide.
