1.

Plug one end of the DC power cord to the power receptacle connector
labelled 12VDC on the back panel of the bridging converter, as shown in
Figure 8. Plug the AC/DC power adapter to a power outlet. (Refer to
“Technical Specifications” on page 27 for power requirements.)

Verify that the PWR LED on the front of the unit is green. If the PWR
LED is OFF, refer to “Troubleshooting” on page 25.

Wiring and Connecting a 12-50VDC Powered Unit

To wire a 12-50VDC powered unit, perform the following step:

1.

Before attaching wires to the DC terminal block on the DC power supply,
review the following Warning statements:

Warning
Only trained and qualified personnel are allowed to install or to replace
this equipment.

Warning
For 12-50VDC power connection, install this equipment only in a
Restricted Access Area.

On the rear side of the chassis is a 3-prong receptacle connector labeled
12-50VDC. Starting from the left side of the terminal block, identify the
negative, ground, and positive terminals using either the diagram
adjacent to the terminal block or the illustration shown in
Figure 9 on page 20.
