Advanced proofing capabilities. EFI Designer Edition produces accurate color proofs at the creation
stage, allowing you to find and fix costly errors early, save time, and accurately simulate final press
output.

Seamless integration with other applications. With Adobe Configurable PostScript 3, EFI Designer
Edition integrates effortlessly with other illustration, photo, and layout applications.

Accurate color. The solution includes several key features for advanced color management in RGB,
grayscale, or CMYK workflows. Its Ugra/FOGRA Media Wedge 2.0 allows you to achieve correct
color, while Spot Color Editor supports an unlimited number of spot colors and libraries for
PANTONE, HKS, and Toyo.

Extended profile options. The flexible EFI Designer Edition includes reference profiles for selected
printing methods, such as offset or newspaper, and paper profiles for EFI and printer manufacturers'
paper types. If you prefer to use your own profiles, Profile Connector enables you to integrate them
into the workflow.

HP Photosmart Pro print plug-in for Adobe Photoshop

The HP Photosmart Pro print plug-in (ProPrint) is a software module that works directly with Adobe
Photoshop. It is used in place of Photoshop's Print with Preview dialog. ProPrint's functionality makes it
unnecessary to invoke Photoshop's Print with Preview dialog in most cases. Invoked from Photoshop,
ProPrint displays print options similar to those in Photoshop with some significant differences, including
the following:

Synchronized control of printer selection and printer driver settings from the top level of the user
interface.

Easy control of color management, including synchronization with the printer driver.

Orientation control at the top level of the user interface.

Friendlier control of image size and placement, including user-definable defaults.

Exclusion of most settings that are focused on Graphics Design users (for instance, registration marks),
making the user interface less cluttered.
